Shadeh Rahimi
Mytchett Primary school
Surrey Heath.

As a teacher in my second year of teaching, too often I’ve attended training that has been delivered with an air of reluctance to be there, both from the trainer and teachers.

This training, not only inspires, but empowers teachers to reconceptualise how to maximise opportunities. The buzz created in the room as a result of the training completely eliminated any sense of complacency one may have had prior to the training. In short I came away with extremely fruitful and rich ideas to implement.

St Augustine’s Primary School Surrey

Loads of practical ideas that I am enthusiastic to try. The course inspired us to be more reflective and to implement different strategies. Definitely an excellent course!

Extremely beneficial for EY practitioners and Senior leaders. The course is excellent in provoking reflection and very good at interpreting the requirement for inspection and providing details of how this translates into practice.

Thank you! A huge amount of very useful information from an excellent thought provoking training course. One of the best EYFS courses I have been to in a long time. I love all of the ideas and now have a huge to do list!

St. George's Primary School

Thank you so much for the inspirational training last week. It’s not very often that you go on courses that really challenge your thinking and develop you professionally. It was such a joy to feel genuinely ‘developed’. I found Thursday and Friday so refreshing. I have come back to school with a much better understanding of school improvement and a real drive to make meaningful changes in the reviewing process of our school. I’m really looking forward to the next session.

Chief inspector (retired)
Diocese of Westminster

At the heart of our work to develop our school inspectors and support improvement in our Catholic schools has been the relationship with Dr Julia Coop – whose expertise, innovative and engaging teaching style and commitment to working creatively with us has transformed the quality of Diocesan inspection in the Diocese of Westminster. What emerged has been a dynamic, rigorous, highly effective combined training programme which offers excellent training to middle and senior leaders in Catholic primary and secondary schools. We now have seven Lead Inspectors and 30 Associate Inspectors who work across the 216 schools in the Diocese with confidence, clarity, rigour and increasing expertise.”

At Edward Pauling Primary School, we always look out for training led by Julia because we know it will be linked closely to securing rapid and sustained school improvement. We have gained tremendously form her advice and support during training and she is always willing to share updates in depth and detail. Julia is always willing to give support to individuals and groups at her training – this is more than we would get from any other training. After attending the training on Teaching to the Top, lesson observations, we came back to school and secured pivotal changes in our systems which ensure that our impact is never less than outstanding! Julia is an excellent coach and will always aim to make us all the best we can be. she inspires and motivates us on our drive to deliver excellence in our practice.
